The trouble seeker
"Leapt across the floor it did, the hippo monkey" I tryed to explain to my parents. To my surprise they didn't believe me ( I thought my acting was very good ). My parents are such non-believers. I thought to myself as I walked to my bedroom.
"FEET!" I screamed. There was a pair of feet walking up to me. Was this my imagination? Or was it real? The feet kept walking as I backed away. "BALL" I screamed. There was now a ball bouncing up to me.
Hanging above my head was a bunch of stars, I think I was unconsious. Higher and higher i flew up till the feet and the ball had both disappeared. Inside a cloud looking building, what these trible people called, the house of trouble seekers, the king of the trible people was sittting in his throne.
"Sky" said the king "you and your brothers take a break." Then when Sky and his brothers left, the king gave me a grounding for a month!! It was completely unfair. What did i do wrong? Then i started to remember, i was a trouble seeker in the house of trouble seekers.
To my surprise he laughed, "I read your mind and if you promise to be good I shall not ground you." "Ok ok I promise to be good, now can I go home?" "Ha ha ha, you think its that simple? Well you have to take the test first" "But i've got a test at school tomorrow!" "Don't worry i've got it sorted, now Sky will show you to your temporary room, SKY"
The next moment Sky came running in. "Yes sir." "Take this trouble seeker to a room." "Yes sir." The next moment Sky was draging me by the left arm to a beige building with a big entrance and sign saying: sleepingrooms. As me and Sky entered, paper airoplanes, wind up toys and balls were being thrownen and wound up by children between the age of 6 and 13.
Next Sky yelled out "BEHAVE, AND GO TO YOUR ROOMS" and all the children picked up there toys and ran to there rooms. Then Sky continued draging me to room number 21. He unlocked the door and gave the key to me. "Your time table will be sent to you before dinner time there are clear signs to follow to get to where you need to. breakfast is at 8 in the morning, lunch at 12 and dinner at 7." And after that he left.
As i entered the room 2 other boys were in there Lying on there beds. "Hi, i'm Roy" said a boy with a freakled face and sandy brown hair. "And hi, i'm Peter" Said the other boy with ovel shaped glasses and mud colored hair. "Hi, and i'm zac." I said. I sat down on the third bed an saw that there were some of my clothes, my PJ's and my toothbrush and toothpaste in my travel bag.
Then a knock at the door came Roy opened it and there was Sky standing there with a scroll of paper. "This is for Zac, it's his timetable" "I'll give it to him" Said Roy taking the the scroll and shutting the door. "He's always grumpy just so you know" Said Peter. And the next thing i know a bell rings and Roy says "Thats the dinner bell, follow us we'll show you where the canteen hall is."
As all the trouble seekers walk in a group to the canteen hall only one block away from the rooms. When we enter there were 6 long green tables with a sitting bench running down either side of all the tables. Then the king shouted out "Would the new trouble seekers come up and get told which table to sit at." And then the boys said. "Hope you can sit at our table." And at that we departed in our different ways.
The king told me to sit at the tui table, which was the table Roy and Zac were sitting at. Then dinner got served to us. Burnt chicken, grey mash potato and dull green peas... YUCK. And, as Roy and Zac told me, if you didn't finish your dinner your grounding would be extended. And next after we finished our gruesome dinner we headed back to our room to go to sleep.
The next morning i wake up to find that i'm in my own bedroom,in my bed? Next my Dad comes thumping up the stairs telling me it's time to get ready for school. I jump out of bed and almost squeeze him to death and tell him "I'm so sorry for making all that stuff up and lying, i'm so sorry!" Then Mum comes up the stairs gracfully and says "Your still grounded."
